This in my first blog and I have to warn you. I am a scattered mental mess. My mind is a labyrinth of useless knowledge that leads me down corridors of thought that branch in to infinity. I often find my self wondering how social interactions ripple through time and why people do the things they do. This blog will be a place to store and share those thoughts with readers who otherwise may never have rested a brainwave on instances, ideas and concepts unique to hopeless thinkers. I was checking the world news like to do every morning and noticed something really interesting in China. Why do people do the things they do?

So in China a gang of super ninjas pulled off some pretty incredible real life feats recently. Actually the gang was made up of about 16 smugglers that used a crossbow to shoot a cable across a heavily policed border. The cable was shot from a high-rise building to a Hong Kong town house below. With a zip line and a pulley system these guys transported small batches of good along the cable. What were they moving back and forth? Electronics.

First let me say, wow! By no means do I endorse smuggling or any criminal activity but like I have heard so many times, "You have got to give the devil his due." I can just picture these guys like something out of a supercharged motion picture pulling out their crossbow and in true Batman-utility-belt fashion launching a cable from rooftop to rooftop. Clever, clever clever! But they got caught you say? I am reminded of a country song called "Chicks Dig It", if you have to get caught smuggling that is the way to go down.

So were these guys the preamble to real life super villains? I say quite possibly. Just as Jules Verne wrote about the fictional but legendary Nautilus in 20,000 leagues under the sea, which later became fact as a submarine, perhaps we are on the verge of seeing the fiction of Batman type heroes and Joker type villains similarly become fact, with no superhuman ability but great minds and better technology. I mean after all, do you have a crossbow that will launch a steel cable 300 yards into a building? Don't dismiss the idea so quickly.
