He served his country in World War II in the Air Corps as sergeant serving in China and Burma, was a member of the Eagles Club, Kiwanis, lifetime member of the Veterans Association Inc., member of the Turkey Mountain Golf Association and was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church of Horseshoe Bend.Survivors include: his wife, Lavina of Horseshoe Bend; a very good friend, Lois Stevens of Horseshoe Bend; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother; and one sister.Funeral services were held on April 7 at the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel with burial following in the Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend with Bro. ...
