Mark P. Miller Sr., 85, of Hardy, Ark., died July 19, 2008, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark. He was born on July 29, 1922, in Wichita, Kan., the son of C.W. Miller and Anna H. (Bredfelt) Miller.

He moved to Hardy in 1971 from Little Rock, Ark., with his family. He was a minister.

He is survived by: one son, Mark Miller Jr., of Hardy; one daughter, Mary Powell of Ozark Acres; one sister, Mary Hensley of Ash Flat; two grandchildren, Tommy Powell and Michelle Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Macey Powell.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Geraldine Miller; and one sister, Maranatha Lair.

Funeral services were held July 26 at the Tri-County Funeral Home with Bro. Gaylon Russell officiating. Burial followed in the Baker Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Services of Highland.
