He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Yates on March 27, 1963, in Highland, Ark.
He worked for many years as a machinist for the Cherokee Frame Factory. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by: his wife, Sharon of the home; one son, Mitchell Eversoll of Whitesboro, Texas; three daughters, Teresa Williams of Minden, La., Karen Henry of Searcy, Ark., and Samantha Spurlock of Viola, Ark.; one sister, Fern Woodard of Imboden; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; an infant son; and two brothers, James Eversoll and Leroy Eversoll.
Funeral services were held July 27 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland with burial following in the Turkey Pen Cemetery with military honors.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
Pallbearers were Ed Duvall, Brian Gates, Michael Whited, Larry Whited, Howard Welch and Charlie Conway.
