Alice Marie Faigle, 88, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., daughter of the late Clarence E. and Lida J. (Pfromer) Stewart, was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Houston, Texas. She died July 24, 2008, at the Community Medical Center in Calico Rock, Ark.

She was united in marriage to Harold J. Faigle on Aug. 30, 1941, at St. Louis, Mo. She spent her working years as a secretary and clerk for a real estate development company. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Salem, Ark., and a member of the NALCC Auxiliary.

She is survived by: a son, Harold J. Faigle, Jr. and wife, Ronda of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; one granddaughter, Halli; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; one daughter; her parents and two sisters.
