Local author Christine Lynxwiler and sisters, Jan Reynolds and Sandy Gaskins, will be at Words Bookstore Nov. 22 to sign copies of their newest book, "Alibis in Arkansas."

The community is invited to join local author Christine Lynxwiler and her sisters and co-authors, Jan Reynolds and Sandy Gaskin, for the premiere signing of their mystery romance collection, "Alibis in Arkansas." Words Bookstore in Hardy will host the three authors on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those attending will be able to purchase autographed copies of the book set to officially release in December.

"Alibis in Arkansas" is an anthology that includes all three unabridged Sleuthing Sisters mystery novels -- "Death on a Deadline," "Drop Dead Diva" and "Down Home and Deadly."

Sisters, Christine Pearle Lynxwiler, Jan Pearle Reynolds and Sandy Pearle Gaskin, are usually on the same page and it's most often a page from their favorite mystery. So, when the idea for a Christian cozy mystery series came up during Sunday dinner at Mama's, they became determined to take their dream further than just table talk. Thus, the Sleuthing Sisters mystery series was born, and now all three novels are available in the "Alibis in Arkansas" anthology.

The Sleuthing Sisters series revolves around the lives of two southern sisters, Jenna and Carly, who find mystery and love in small-town Arkansas. No matter where they go, murder turns up like a bad penny. When the local newspaper editor is killed and Carly's son is named a suspect, Jenna decides to go undercover to get the real scoop in "Death on a Deadline." A vacation in Branson, Mo., sounds like fun, but the sisters are surprised to find that the glittering lights and twanging tunes make a perfect backdrop for a "Drop Dead Diva." Back home in Lakeview, Carly's new diner is really cooking. But last time she checked, murder was not on the menu. So why have things suddenly turned "Down Home and Deadly?"

Lynxwiler is an award-winning author of many other titles and those will be available for signing, as well. Words Bookstore is located at 201 Spring Street in Hardy. Call the store at 870-856-5579 for more information.
