Kiwanis winners announced

The following are the winners of the 2009 Kiwanis Golf Tournament. First place flight paid $270; second place paid $210; and third place paid $180.

Championship Flight: First place: Blevins/Blevins/McGuffie; second place: Boy/Boy/Huddeston; third place: Foster/Bryant/Bryant.

A Flight: First place: Thielemier/Thielemier/Bramitty; second place: Hodge/Tosh/Lewis; third place: Ryan/Schaeffer/Heiser.

B Flight: First place: Lewis/Carlton/Sharpe; second place: Kirby/Halbert/Sterbenz; third place: Landrum/Frey/Schilleman.

Contest winners were: Closest to the pin on #18: John Kissee; longest putt on #7: Joe Rash; and longest putt on #15: Bob Foster. Each paid $50.

There were 26 teams (78 people) that participated in the tournament.
