Highland Classic set to break in new facility

The Highland Rebels are eager to begin play in the beautiful new 2,140 seat A.L. Hutson Memorial Center.

And what better way to break in their new gymnasium than by hosting what looks to be one outstanding event?

Beginning Nov. 9 and finishing Nov. 14, the Highland Classic looks should provide plenty of action for area basketball fans.

The Highland Classic features 20 different schools -- with 16 boys' teams and 17 girls' teams.

A number of different class sizes are also in the mix, with the boys' teams featuring seven teams from Class 1A, four from Class 2A, one from Class 3A, three from Class 4A and one from Class 5A.

The girls' division features seven teams from Class 1A, three from Class 2A, two from Class 3A, four from Class 4A and one from Class 5A.
