Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11th

Veterans Day, Nov. 11th, was created as a day to honor all veterans of the American Armed Forces. This Veterans Day the American Legion Post 346 inconjunction with VFW Post 4772, DAV #55, the Purple Heart Association and the American Veterans Memorial Committee will honor all veterans at ceremonies to be held at the American Veterans Memorial in Ash Flat.

As a veteran of the Korean War and Chairman of the American Veterans Memorial Committee and member of VFW Post 4772, I hope everyone in our area will remember what Veterans Day is all about and will come to the American Veterans Memorial at noon on Nov. 11th and take part in honoring all our veterans.

The American Veterans memorial is located on Nix Ridge Road at the Ash Flat City Park and is a unique and beautiful Memorial that was designed to be a place of honor for all American Veterans. The Memorial Committee would like to invite everyone to come by and visit this unique memorial.
